Ophthalmology

Ophthalmological services our veterinarians provide consist of ophthalmic examinations, which include measurement of intraocular pressure (IOP), a diagnostic procedure for glaucoma; cornial uptake staining (using fluorescein), Schirmer’s testing for keratoconjuctivis sicca (KCS), and examination for wounds and ulcers.

Additionally, our veterinarians perform basic ophthalmological surgical procedures, with referral to a board-certified ophthalmologist when necessary.
