Ed Robinson, CVT

Ed Robinson is a 1987 graduate of the University of Maine Farmington with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, and a 1999 graduate of Gaston College in Dallas, North Carolina, with an Applied Animal Sciences degree.

Ed joined our staff in 2008, and now has 28 years of experience as a veterinary technician, with 25 years working in clinical practice, two (2) years teaching at Johnson College in Scranton, Pennsylvania; and two (2) years working in a reference laboratory. He is currently in his ninth year of teaching online courses for Penn Foster‘s Veterinary Technician Associate Degree program while working with us full-time. Ed’s teaching career has also led to speaking engagements at various veterinary conferences.

Ed is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) whose professional affiliations include membership in the American Veterinary Technician Educators Association (AVTE) and the North American Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA).

Laura Wells, CVT, CCRP

Laura Wells began her career in veterinary medicine after completing an internship at Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, Colorado, and later graduating from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology.

Laura joined our staff full-time in September of 1985, and now works part-time while running her own canine rehabilitation center. Laura is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), as well as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) through the Certificate Program in Canine Rehabilitation at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

Laura is also an owner and highly regarded breeder and handler of champion Rottweilers.
